Question about Samsung SGH-D500 Cellular Phone

Camera problem when ever i want to take a snap,even though i am sliding it up,it is displaying a message"Please slide up ",so I am not able to use cam facility. Even while voice recording there is a slight unusual disturbance.

There is a little magnet inside the flip which has probably come loose,common fault

Cam says loc


The LOC message means that the slide switch on the the SD card is LOCked! The camera cannot store pictures on the SD card until the slide switch is in the correct (unlocked) position. I had this problem, as well!

Poor quality conversion from slides to digital


Specify the format : .JPG or whatever it is.. please try to be specific.. SD Card is not a format.. its a storage media..slides as well is not a format.. its a terms..

In sliding handset sometime this type of problem are common.
this is due lose in slider connection.Due to sliding the connection gets cut.
This is the reason why camera doesn't works.
So please visit the nearest Samsung care and get repaired it.

Pentax optio 50 giving a "memory card error" message when we take a picture


If this is occurring with multiple cards, and is also saying "card locked" even though the tiny slide switch is in the unlocked position, see this link for the fix.

Card Reader Error


There's a slide switch on one edge of the SD card. Slide it away from the contacts. If that doesn't work, there's a problem with the mechanism inside the camera that detects the switch position.

Cam not working properly


first backup the phone data and then perform this format ( Data gets Deleted) *#7370# .... default code is 12345 .. After this restore the backup made ... this shud resolve the problem

Replacement shoe for Sigma EF-500


I had the same thing happen. Sent it into Sigma, they replaced it for 50 bucks.
