Question about Kirby Ultimate G Bagged Upright Vacuum
How does the belt lifter go together on the Kirby vacuum head? I broke the outside plastic piece which turns to lift the belt on and off. I have repaired that piece but am not sure where the plastic washer and the two metal washers go when putting it back together. I think the plastic washer goes inside of the vacuum head with the two tabs facing outward towards the front of the vacuum head but I don't know how the wavy metal washer and the flat metal washer fit together or if they should go inside the vacuum head or outside of the vacuum head.
Thanks for any assistance you can provide.
I have tried to get a parts breakdown for your vacuum cleaner with no success. The way that then washers should go is the flat smotth metal washer on the inside followed by the fibre washer and the wavy washer on the outside. The waves are used to bite into the plastic so it cannot work loose.
