Tighten belt then center it.

The bow flex tc5 is an overpriced piece of equipment. The build quality is not great. There are ongoing documented problems with the belts fraying on this model. You can always order a new belt or adjust the side (loosening or tightening) your primary foot stepping side, but I would call bow flex and demand a new belt or replacement. You can mention there is a "risk of fall" due to poor workmanship. This will get their attention and you may even get a new treadmill or at least free belt. Call Bow flex customer service at 1-800-436-6549.

This is not a easy job. Too many steps to tell.

RUN THE software calibration for easy diagnostic and fix it. However you must adjut the REED swtich, test for open, loose wires or connector see the diagram attached. If your system has batteries replace the old ones by new ones ALKALINES, clean the contacts batteries spring from dirty, bad contacts, oxide, corrosion. Tight the ribbon cables inside display, clean it, and tight the upper connector and lower connector (clean it too)

5) measure the input voltage to the display board see the diagram attached.

1a)Tight the flexible cable from keypad + tight the connector from display board vs lower board.

2) Run the software calibration for easy diagnose and troubleshooting.
