Always use the little icon by the clock, "safely remove hardware" before detaching

Last ditch effort if u really need those files:
try mounting it with linux. You can download a live CD, burn it and then reboot your PC and run the live CD to boot Linux you won't even have to format your PC.

I've had several external hard drives and flash drives that wouldn't mount in windows but did in Linux.

Theoretically, you can't format a more than 32 GB drive with FAT/FAT32 file system. In your case you have to choose the NTFS file system to format your 64 GB USB flash drive. However, if you really need to format it with FAT32, you got to use the command line or a third party tool. Hope this is going to help you.

My 32GB KINGSTON FLASH DRIVE IS DEAD BARELY AFTER

I had such an issue with my 16GB Kingston it just died after 2 month. But usually it comes with at least 5 year warranty. So I returned mine and got new one instead. My luck that I had my files backed up. Try to change your kingston if it's completely undiscovered by your PC. But try it on another PC or Mac first. Good luck!

Move data from one computer to another with kingston 8gb data tra

When you plug in the Flash Drive to your old computer, it will show up in My Computer probably as Removable disk or "Kingston Data Travler". You want to open that link up and drag whatever files you need into that folder. After doing so you put the flash drive in your new computer and repeat the process except you drag the files out of the folder and onto your desktop or a folder of your liking.

Hi i have purchased a kingston pen drive 32 gb and whenever i copy any file it shows as corrupt

There are many duplicate Pen drives usually 32, 64 GB.... They are very cheap price without warranty.

Next time buy a pen drive only from a shop like Computer Peripheral vendor where you will find the Pen Dive more expensive but with warranty. They are real one and their capacity are 2, 4 or 8Gb
