Setting the clock on JVC KD-G230

Hello, my name is Israel. I will be glad to help you. You will first need to push and hold the selct button. DEMO will show on the screen use the |<< and >>>| buttons to select clock. Use the voulume knob to adjust the hour and then select the minutes and adjust as you did the hour. When finished push the select button.

Press and hold SEL until menu appears
Using the scan button (FWD/REV), select Clock H
Using the volume knob, set the value
Using the scan button (FWD/REV), select Clock M
Using the volume knob, set the value
Press SEL to save and exit

There is a misprint on manual concerning setting the clock. This is the case for similar JVC mobile head units.

The proper way to set the clock for this unit is:

1.)Hold down 'SEL' button count to 3 seconds
2.)Immediately after release of 'SEL' button hit the '>>|' button

This will allow you to enter 'PSM' menu. Every time you press '>>|' it will cycle between, 'CLOCK HOUR','CLOCK MINUTE', and 'Demo' Mode.

3.)Adjust settings by using the 'turn knob' and make sure 'Demo' mode is set to 'Demo Off' for the clock to stay set.

its simple. hold the "sel" button until the menu comes up and it will say hours use the volume button to change it. then use the next button to go to the minutes. then you can also change other settings under this menu. hit the "sel" button again to go back.
