Please can you explain how I may connect my PS3 via a Belkin router wirelessly so that I may uprade my PS3 o/s via the internet - I have Virgin Broadband connection.

well i got belkin router too and when i try play cod4 with friends of mine its dosn't want to connect everytime it says unable to connect to host. its just my ps3 all my friends can play together apart from me

ps3 is asking me for a system update.. go to do the update and it cuts off after 16% of loading.. why does this happen?

I found thats if you take away any passwords on your belkin wireless box then the ps3 allows you to use the internet and play online

im having alot of problems getting the ps3 to connect to my belkin router i am also with virgin broadband, mine will also pick up the ip addresse but keeps getting a dns error, i have made sure the wep key has been entered but it still wont work some one please help im going crazy

Have you tryed using a ethnet cable from your roter to the ps3

hi mike. i have virgin broadband and a belkin wireless router to so let me assure you that it will work. anyway, if you have a wep key, then make sure this is entered on the ps3's settings.if not, then just search for the router on the ps3, it and it should find it with no probs. (make sure the router is no more than 100 metres away from the ps3)

throw away the belkin router they are rubbish buy a linksys one.

there is a box in the route setup page, that says something along the lines of connect unp device. This allow plgu and play connection that the ps3 needs

I am having the exact same problem as alexsebuliba... Belkin routers really stink as far as my experiences go with them...

i have a problem. im using a belkin wirless router. when i test for an internet connection, it stats that ip adreess succeded but internet connection failed. due to a dns error??? please can sombody help me. i just want to play pro online. wat do i do???
