If you see a light on the dash that says "security" when you are having trouble, then this is your problem and this link will help you,
Replace the crank sensor as they get hot they will sometimes quit working. The temp light comes on everytime the engine is turned off and the switch is on. Next time it dies spray or pour some water on the sensor then see if it will crank and if it does you know what it is.
