Sorry but I don't know much about the Kenmore however, I would suggest that it has some sort of Child Proof locking mechanism to stop kids from putting their hands in a hot oven. Some ovens automatically lock once they start to heat up, some can be locked all the time. Perhaps on yours, like some other brands, 1 or more buttons need to be pressed at the same time on the control panel to release the lock? Have a look in your manual or look closely at the control panel itself, it may say press this/ hold that, whatever, to release the lock.
Hello Le'Cinda Rhone - Does any part of the range work? I would recommend verifying that a fuse is not blown or a circuit breaker tripped. Test the power outlet with a lamp, hair dryer, etc. Another question, does "Loc" appear in the display if any button is pushed? The Oven Lockout feature automatically locks the oven door, prevents the warmer drawer and most oven controls from being turned ON. If so, press and hold CLEAR/OFF for 3 seconds. Then a beep will sound and LOC will clear. The "DOOR LOCKED" will continue to flash until the oven door has completely unlocked. Does the clock display "Sd" or "dddd"? If so, the clock is in sales demo mode. Press and hold the "BAKE TIME" button for 6 seconds to exit sales demo mode. If this does not prove to be successful, contact a professional to have EOC diagnosed and/or to confirm that there isn't a wiring failure.
