I have qsee qt426 dvr ,recording stop automatically after some time,can u please help me

After forgetting my password, I tried everything. Literally. And this is the Only way I could reset it, and regain control. First you must kill the power to the DVR by unplugging it, or turning off it's surge protected power strip, wait 5 seconds, then reconnect power. This basic reset prepares the DVR to accept this admin password reset. Upon startup, the username should automatically be admin, if not then type the word admin in as username. then all you have to do is type in 1 2 3 4 5 6 for your password, then click enter, then log on. And Hallelujah!!! your back in!

Main Menu -> Setup -> Basic -> System tab -> Video Format option change drop down to ntsc

try to remove the cmos back up battery inside the DVR and install back the battery in invert position to short the polarity. Leave it overnight and install back the battery in the proper position and turn on. tyr to log in USERNAME: admin PASSWORD: 123456

idk my remote does that too. We just got it like a month ago and we cant watch anything we record

My record lock is turn off, but every time I press the record stop to stop record it takes me to the password screen where I must enter a password before I can stop the recording....This piece of xxxxx is stink. I hate my Samsung SHR-1040...I cant even talk to Samsung about it.....When I call, they transfer me to India and they dont even know what a DVR is......I told them DVR 10 times, but they keep repeating to me " VCR"
