Zm400 media darkness settings get reset after printings lable from SAP

The printer driver settings override the printer settings unless you tell the driver to use the printer settings. You can tell by setting the printer setting and saving it permanently. Print a configuration label. Send a label to the printer. Print another configuration label. Compare the config labels and If it changed, then the driver changed it. Set the driver as above and it will not change when you print.

We are in need of thermal printers and Zebra LP

The LP2844 can only print on Direct Thermal labels.

DT labels have the ink within the label and the labels react to heat. If these labels are to be exposed to direct sunlight they will eventually turn black.

Hint:
If you scrape the label with fingernail you can usually see the black ink on label

The physical size of the labels is this max width 1 inch (MInimum) to 4 inches (Max). Maximum length of label depends on the amount of memory in printer but maximum size for standard LP2844 is 11 inches. With full memory can be 22 inches long.

The labels must be on a 1 inch core.

These printer can handle all label types.

1: die cut Labels - Use gap sensing.*
2: Labels with Black mark on back - Use Black mark*
3: Continuous roll - select continuous *

* Select in printer driver media setting

Use the latest ZDesigner Driver V1.5.10
Download from Zebra Website.

Printer Preferences - Advanced Setup - Media Type.

PRINTER PRINTS ONE LABEL THEN DISPENSES 4 TO 5 MORE BLANK LABELS. UNABLE TO RESET WITHOUT TURNING UNIT OFF AND REWINDING LABEL ROLL. WE HAVE A COGNITIVE LX THERMAL PRINTER.

Printer needs calibrating. This can be accomplished through the printer driver under 'printing preferences' or the Cognitive Printer Setup Utility.

I can't find a driver for my ELTRON LP2443PSA thermal label printer. Please help

Please send me an e-mail to: [email protected]

With the subject line: Eltron Orion LP2443 PSAT Label Printer, and I will be more than glad to help you.

If you will use this subject line, then it will be easier for me to identify that the message that you are going to send me is NOT spam message. Because I get a lot of junk mail per day. Which is about 75% of the total e-mail's that I get in my inbox every day. And usually I do not have time to go through reading all of my messages, so if the message title will look suspicious, or all capital letters, or all small letters, than I may flag your message as "Spam".

I have the same exact printed which I also bought at the end of January, 2009, which I originally received without any drivers at all, but after I spend a lot of time looking, and with hard work, I finally found the correct drivers that I use for this same exact Thermal Label Printer.

Also, just a suggestion: If you are going to use this printer for shipping online, then you can go to www.UPS.com, and get free Thermal Shipping Labels to use with UPS shipping service.

Currently, I have 2 completely compatible working drivers for this label printer. 1 of the drivers is for Windows 2000, or earlier systems, and the other driver is for Windows XP, or later operating systems. I use the second driver, with Windows Vista, and I have no problems using my Thermal Label Printer.

Therefore, I do not remember where I exactly downloaded the 2x drivers for this Thermal Label Printer, and do not have enough time to upload them online, because I am very busy, but, I do have 2x of the drivers downloaded on my computer, in it's own folder, that I can upload later on to some online file sharing site, like www.mediafire.com.

So, if you still need the drivers for this Thermal Label Printer, please send me an e-mail, and I will be more than glad to help you with both getting the drivers, and if I will have time, or if it won't take me very long time, Installing this Thermal Label Printer on your computer.

Hope I could help you. Thank you very much.
