It sounds like there may be an issue with the ignition system specifically for the wok burner. Here are a few potential causes:
Faulty Ignition Head: The ignition head may not be generating enough spark to ignite the gas. Since you mentioned that a weak spark can be seen when foil is placed between the ignition head and earth, this could indicate a weak spark from the ignition head.
Dirty Ignition Head: If the ignition head is dirty or covered in grime, it may not be able to generate a strong spark. You can try cleaning the ignition head with a soft brush or a toothbrush to remove any debris or buildup.
Loose Connections: Check to make sure all the electrical connections for the ignition system are tight and secure. A loose connection could cause the ignition to fail.
Faulty Spark Module: The spark module provides power to the ignition system. If it's faulty, the ignition may not work properly. However, since the other burners are working fine, it's less likely that the spark module is the issue.
If none of these solutions work, it may be best to call a professional to diagnose and repair the issue.
Four possible causes: First it hasn't been connected to the mains, some ignition systems work on the mains sockets, if it's is plugged into the mains it could be the fuse in the plug. It could be a battery believe it or not some igniters work off a battery, this will be well hidden! Finally it could be the ignition switch. These are easily sourced and replaced - just replaced mine recently for a few pounds. Hope this helps
(1) Get Naval Jelly (Rust dissolver) and apply on the igniter and than see if everything is fine.
(2) Check the connections from the knob to the burner. Probably have a leak. Replace the wire from the knob to the burner.
Electric gas igniters sometimes get stuck in one position causing a clicking sound. The clicking sound that you hear is the electric arc that is pulsing from the igniter conductor (wire) to ground (the gas burner). It receives power from the electrical outlet that the stove is plugged into.
Residue from food and sometimes cleaning products may be preventing the igniter from producing a spark (Arc) to the base of the burner. This is a common problem that occurs when the stove has been cleaned or food is allowed to build up. Make sure that the igniter and the burner base are clean and dry. This will help with proper operation. Oven cleaner and a small tooth brush may be used to accomplish this. Another problem with ignition may occur if you have too little (touching) or too much space between the igniter and the base of the burner; it will prevent the burner from igniting. You should only have a little more space than the thickness of a nickel between the burner base and the igniter. A good "blue" arc from the igniter to the burner base is optimal. If this doesn’t work, you may need to replace the electric igniter module. Good luck.
I have a stove that doesn't light (click) I've replaced the igniters, I've replaced the knobs, and I've replace the box all the igniters and plugged into. There's nothing else to change out and it still doesn't give a spark. I've got gas and electricity but nothing will light
if u push the knob there is a clicking sound, if no the problem is damage the ignition coil, need to replace it,or check the outlet, plug or its batery operatet ignition? replace the batery.
the ignition is power operated, check the power source.
I don't have a Thermador cooktop but here is ma taught.
Could you unplug the two faulty igniters and see if problem remained
Could you plug one of the faulty igniter at the location of a good one. The goal is to isolate the problem. Is it the igniter or the electronic board.
Faulty ground problem may occur also after an spillover on the stove. In that case, use a cotton swab dipped in scrubbing alcool and clean the spark area on the igniter and the burner.
