Region hack DV-454 (Peter's) work on my DV-2650.
No problem.

Setting the TV system (on a DV-2650)

1. If the player is on, press STANDBY/ON to switch it to standby.

2. Using the front panel controls, hold down >> >> then press STANDBY/ON to switch the TV system.

The TV system change as follows:
* AUTO -> NTSC
* NTSC -> PAL
* PAL -> AUTO

I had to repeat this one time and it worked! many thanx

This code comes directly from RCA the maker of the remote and should work with pioneer DVD: 165



Other possible codes are:

and: 018,020,044

if these do not work then use the code search feature on the remote.
