Re: Pc says no device connected

That happened to me and I had to try a different usb port. Make sure your TT is off before you connect it and then after it is connected, turn it on.
Hope that helps!

My tomtom go 700 will not connect to my pc

The moment you connect your TomTom device to a computer, your device should ask Do you want to connect to 'computer'. Once you tap YES, it should connect to the computer. TomTom HOME then starts.

If your device is not connecting, click one of the solutions below:

Tom Tom Go 520 can not connect to PC.

I had the same problem with a 750.
I cured it (accidentally I must add) by inserting a memory card.
I guess the last time I connected and disconnected the 750 it had a memory card in and without one inserted it would not recognise the device.
Strange reason but worked for me.

Problem connecting Garmin nuvi 205 w to pc

Check your cable.

I had to switch to device to pc cable from the garmin original cable to a pc cable that works with my motorola razor. The funny thing is I originally tried the motorola cable and it wouldn't work, brought the garmin cable and now it doesn't work but the motorola cable does.

Now my pc finds the device and I can go on to the garmin site and update.

Fails to stay on

Not a really a problem...You are connecting a device to your USB connection on your PC. Garmin then enters protected mode. The device appears as a hard drive on your system. It is charging, but you cannot view or navigate on the device while it is connected
