Re: Tv has green outline
Try to adjust your convergence from you menu items. If this does not work, the problem may be your convergence Correction ICs but make sure you try to adjust your convergence first. There is a lot of information on the net about how to change the two convergence ICs (so I will not reinvent the wheel here). I would however suggest that you get a qualified TV repair person to do this for you since some folks have run into other issues in trying to do it themselves.

This is a convergence problem. You will need the stk's changed and a pico fuse or 2. also from looking at the pic you might want to clean the lenses and mirror after the repair to bring back some of the vibrant colors the set once had when it was new. This repair should run you anywhere from $300-$500 depending on your area and the tech that comes out. If you need more information or would like to try to fix it on your own please let me know.
somewhere in the tv menu there is a place to make video adjustments. one should be for aligning the color guns. one is for red and the other two are green and blue. it will give you a cross in the center of the screen. it should also give you prompts to adjust the lines for centering and to save changes. this happens eventually on all rear projection tv sets.
If set displays intermittent green outlines around images, check DVI cable attached to DMD board from digital board. Poor connections on the DVI jack on the DMD board can cause the intermittent symptom. Pull up slightly on the body of the DVI cable connector and check video. Replace DMD board as necessary.
