Question about Garmin StreetPilot c510 Deluxe GPS Receiver
I downloaded, the latest software update to my C510, now it wont load up at all,
all i get is
then again then again just going round in circles
the pc wont even recognise it now
You don't say if you tried resetting the 510 after the update.
To do a reset remove the grey faceplate trim piece. Along the right side of the screen there is a reset button. Press the reset button then plug the 510 into a power supply. The 510 should automatically power up and reboot.
It's possible that the update was corrupted when it was downloaded, or there is a problem with the processor. If you can't get your GPS to reboot, your PC wont recognise the GPS and you'll probably have to send the unit out for service.
