On the web interface, use
1 Click System Maintenance > Purge Data.
2 Click Purge Database
This ll do fact reset.

You need to have a wired network connection between your pc and the 3102, using an ethernet cable. Once you have that and the light are on on both ends of the connection, go to Control panel, Network Connections and identify the connection, normally Local area Connection.
Right click and edit Properties, look for TCP/IP and change it from automatic to set as 192.168.1.10 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0
Don't bother about any of the rest. If it is already set up manually, MAKE SURE you note down all the settings before you change anything.Then open a web browser to 192.168.1.2 and make sure you click on Admin and Advanced on the toolbar. You can turn off call waiting from there if it is set up, but I don't recall the 3102 as supporting it. Frankly, the 3102 is a POS, and you should replace it.

3102 phones require group 2 licenses purchased from an authorized NBX reseller. if you don't have enough the system will not allow the phone to be discovered. You can check this unler the licenses tab while logged into the phone system as administrator.
