You can try updating your graphic cards to the latest drivers from Manufacture Site, update your DirectX to the lastest too. If the problems is not solved, then you have to get a better card in order to play the game.

This is due to your graphic card not supporting "Layer 3 mode or better". You need a better graphic say with "layer 4 mode" support to play the game.

Error Message E0001 = This game requires a shader model 3 (or better) card. Your Card doesn't support pixel shader v3.0 probably.. this is usually the case with unsupported graphics cards.. bad luck dude.

I have the same problem, E0001 occurs when I want to start maybe system requierments are too high for my pc..... ??
