Merc c class heater problems centre blowing cold and sides hot

its probably the actuator. its usually located under the dash in the center. you might be able to get to it by removing the glove box and looking to the drivers side. its a black box that has a wire connector on it. switch your heater control from hot to cold and you should here it click. replace it and i bet your problem is solved

the heater vacuum motor and lines needs to be checked.Also get the blend door checked.

you have shutter actuators that are mounted externally on you heater core enclosure inbetween your dash and firewall most likely in center. if not in center then behind glove box.

I may be wrong, There is hose that is off its place in the hot side, or the flap that closes the hot channel is not working.

if my memory serves me correctly, this is what its supposed to do,the two centre vents are cold,fresh air only the rest are airmix vents,hot and cold.yes, we had lots of complaints about drafts.....

Sounds like the Defrost selection is selected. Is any cold air coming out? if not check the charge on the A/C freon.

Its just a vent damper plate not operating, it's like a gate which controls the flow of air,,usually they are operated by vacuum, or cables.
Service center time, unless you are handy with your own repairs.
