Question about Fuji FinePix F30 Digital Camera
I also dropped my Fuji F30.
The half-press of the shutter didn't work anymore.
I bought a triwing / triblade screwdriver (about 5 euros) to open the case.
The flatcable running from the knobs on top of the F30 to the main print was a bit loose. After reconnecting it, the shutter button was fully functional again.
It seems that from the backside the most 3 three wires in the flatcable are for the shutter, so if your cable is also a bit loose, this might solve the problem.
NB Remember to only open the backside of the casing, there is no need to open the lens-side. Opening and closing the backside is really easy and could be done by anyone with the right tools. (read screwdrivers...)

The shutter did not work at all.
After reconnecting the flat cable the camera is fully functional again.
I did not used the triblade screwdriver, just small flat from a good precision screwdriver set.
