Question about Toshiba TP55G90 55" Rear Projection Television

Screen removal I have a Toshiba TP55G90 rear projection tv that has a pushed in front screen. How do I remove the front screen housing and return the screen to the original condition?

1) Remove lower,front speaker grill
2) Remove screws along bottom edge of screen frame
3) Lift screen assembly off cabinet
4) Lay assembly face down
5) Remove just enough frame screws to get back in position--
    Don't force it----
6) Reassemble.........T.

you can remove the screen but there is a easier way, from rear with cover removed use a swiffer cleaner to get at the webs etc. Gently.

How due you replace the lamp in the Toshiba Toshiba 65HM167 65 in. Television

Pop off the front panel below the tv screen. Remove bulb cover door (screw) and then remove the bulb housing. Replace with new bulb and reverse the process.

Usally access from rear panel, unplug and only wipe the lens with feather duster. do not mechanically move the projection tubes or you will effect the convergence of the 3 colors

There is one mirror inside. It is easy to remove the front plastic screen by removing the bottom fabric grill (snaps off by pulling outward like a removable speaker grill). Remove several wood screws along bottom edge of screen. Lift up the whole plastic screen frame and pull it away from the TV; but be careful with the control wires that go to the center panel, which snaps off the big screen frame easily. The mirror is right there.

Easier to remove the top back cover, be carefull it`s heavier than it looks, has a large mirrror on the inside of the cover, hope this helps, video-tek

Power light is blinking TV does not turn on

Mosy likly the regulator Ic in the main power supply . Not a consumer replaceable item because of xray and safty issues Call in a shop to assit you in this matter. Good luck
