USB-SERIAL ADAPTER\DRIVER\MAC\OS_89" run on "PL2303_OS9_v136b1.hqx",it will auto run the program and appear "ProlificUSBSerial" file. 8.2.4 Copy "ProlificUSBSerial" file into "system folder"-"Extension". 8.2.5 Plug in the USB-Serial adapter into USB port. 8.2.6 To make sure that your computer can use the device, you have check the "Apple System Profile"-"Device and Volumes". First do not plug the Printer USB cable

Start Installation and then when Setup asks to connect the USB cable Plugin to your system.
Make sure the Printer is connected and Powered ON during the initial setup.

1. Disconnect the USB cable from the computer.
2. Click Start , and then click Control Panel .
3. Click Add or Remove Programs .
4. Remove all items that are related to HP software. To do this, use the following steps:
   1. Make sure that the option Change or Remove Programs is selected.
   2. Click the HP software to uninstall, and then click Remove .
5. Restart the computer

In case you have McAfee anti Virus software install please make sure that it is not blocking the HP setup EXE files.

can you see the new device in the device manager, you may need to install it, did you get disks, to install it if so go to add new hardware in the control panel and you may need to manually install the device. It will at some time ask for a disk, so have it ready, peace, Gym
