Question about SanDisk Sansa m240 MP3 Player
HI i boot a sansa e280 8 gb 2 weeks after the screen became white with a black spoot i boot it from future shop they refuse to chage it they toll me it is a fysic probleme is there any solution to repeare the screen and THANKS IN ADVANCE
Hi, I got the exact same problem, contacted Sandisk, the first few times, they told me to re-format the player (with the recovery thing... did that about 10 times, never worked). Now Sandisk stopped replying to my e-mails and I am stuck with an MP3 player that dosent work. Was anyone able to fix the problem ?

It sounds like some data corruption.
Run the recovery tool from the SanDisk website. Make sure you select "format" when prompted.
You need to put the device into "recovery mode" before you run the tool.
- Turn the device off (hold power for 20 seconds)
- Slide the hold switch into "hold" position.
- Press and hold the "record" button while connecting it to your computer. Keep holding the "record" button until you see the "new hardware found" on your computer.
Then run the recovery tool. Select format when prompted.
