Question about Philips 19PR19 19" TV
My screen keeps showing "This Should Be Your Next TV" message on the screen. It then starts listing the TV features. Then goes on and describes each menu selection. Then repeats this cycle continuously.
Pushing the buttons on the TV has no effect on stopping it. My remote buttons have no effect on stopping it. The only way to stop it, is to unplug it (even the power button doesn't work).
This started happening after my son kept pushing the channel buttons on the TV to try to change the channel. Of course he couldn't change the channel because (unknowing to him -- he's little) I was recording using my VCR and the TV was in VCR mode.
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

You are right about the auto-programming, but Magnavox no longer has the original remote.
For my answer to be right, you must have posted this question to the EXACT CORRECT model # of your Magnavox TV - 27ms343s:
Press TV on your Verizon remote, and then press "0" and "3"
If that fails:
Press MENU to see the TV’s on-screen
menu. In the menu, use VOL.+/_ and
CH.+/_ to make adjustments or selections.
You can press MENU on either the
remote control or the front of the TV to
access or remove the menu.

I just found a solution elsewhere on this site...
In order to make the Demo Mode stop, you should press Volume Up and Channel Up together, and hold for four seconds. This worked for my mom's tv, I hope it works for you, mooone (and everyone else, too).
