SOURCE: Dyson DC-07 Hose Wand Spring Came Out. How to put back in?

You'll see that there is a round piece with a cross shape on the inside of the button wand release button - place the end of the spring over the cross - you'll see the same cross on the collar of the machine...it'll take some doing, but line the other end of the spring up with the cross and pop the button back into place - be sure to click it onto those two gray circular/oval shaped divets at the bottom where the release button connects to so that the button stays in place.

How do i install a replacement spring in a tool catch

it isn't obvious from the pics but if I had to guess u need to get both the catch and the spring (if u lost it) b/c the reason the spring came out is that the catch is already broken.
Once u get it, it simply pops into place.
look at this page - may help

Dc25 filter keeps popping out in ball and jamming ball can anything be done to fix

Hi, it's Ambrai from Crucial Vacuum.

There are two reasons why the post filter may pop out. One reason is that the spring on your filter may be broken. The post filter should pop in and you should hear a click to make sure it is locked in place. If you don't hear that click, the spring may be broken. Otherwise, your post filter may be dirty. Once the filter is packed with debris, air can no longer pass through it causing the ball to pop open. There are also two types of filters for your Dyson DC25. Remember for optimal performance, it is recommended to change your filters every three to six months.

You can purchase your replacement filters directly from Crucial Vacuum with free shipping and an exclusive 10% coupon for Fixya.com readers, use code: FIXYA10

I took my Dyson DC 25 Animal apart to clean it, and now the red foot pedal won't lock the vacuum into the upright position anymore. The trouble is the spring pin for the pedal popped out and I can't figure...

That spring thing goes where the pedal screws into the side. When 'facing' the dyson in the front, it's on the left side. The spring's circle part and short stem section goes into a divot area on the pedal. The other end is tensioned (braced) against some housing piece, but once you insert the spring part in the pedal end part, you should be able to figure it out from there.
This darned spring makes the pedal 'tensioned' to where it pops back up vs. flopping nonsensically.

Handle wont go to upright position

The red pedal has slipped out of position. On both ends of the red pedal you'll see metal rods (the axel of the pedal). On one side you'll see the metal rod sits into a long groove, on the other side you'll see the metal rod sits into a round hole. They both have to be in the long grooves so you have to reposition the rod that's into the round hole by pulling it out and sliding it back into the long groove above the round hole. You'll now be able to bring the handle up and lock the machine back into the upright position.
