08.25.41 code error media drive stalled while moving the cap to park postion

23 old trucks need lots of work. NO ENGINE TOLD.

can be engine or tranny failing. or TCC locker jammed.
does it run on OK in Neutral?

so idles OK>? in Park and revved up in park is ok>?
got 4wd?

my guess is , engine misfiring under loads.
and bad spark plugs, they do not last 23 years ever.
if has HV spark wires, those bad too.
all 3 engines 1999 have distributor that needs also new CAP and rotor, (spare plug, cap,rotor wire sets full)
called a FULL tune up, for ages.

Usual cause of these codes is a broken drive assembly or a broken mounting base of the motor or the wiper is stacked.

signs of a bad fuel pressure regulator. the vehicle runs rough, the engine will not start usually in the mornings. many times engine starts but stalls shortly after starting. a bad regulator can result in fouled plugs. black soot on plugs, blake smoke from tailpipe, running rough, stalling. you could have residue in fuel tank and need to change fuel filter again. have a very good day !!

That error code means that "The Media Drive stalled while engaging headtilt." Check for obstructions in the wiper assy, broken wiper drive belt/gear, etc. Run the Head Maintenance clutch test and wiper drive test.

You'll have to have arm removed and repositioned. If there is a little cap at end where it mounts, snap it up , remove nut, and wiggle arm upward, until off, put wipers in park, set arm back on in proper position & tighten nut. If no nut, there should be a clip on side that you pry out and pull arm off same way. If not successful, a local garage or bodyshop should do it for you for minimal or no charge. Hopefully splines inside arm aren't stripped off. Clean all good before re-install.
