Its a fuser error and it has to be reset in service mode
To get into service mode.....
Press *
Then 2 & 8 together
Then *
then choose COPIER
then choose FUNCTION
then choose CLEAR
then choose ERROR
then press OK
turn power off and on
if the problem comes back there is a problem with the fuser but in my experiance resetting has worked 99% of the time

first verify that the fuser drawer is inserted correctly and there is no debris in the fuser connector. Also check the fuser for paper wraped around the roller. Next, enter service mode ( 'additional functions', 2&8 same time, 'additional functions') press copier->function->clear->err->ok. Then power cycle the device. NOTE: Only do this procedure ONCE! Repeatedly resetting this error can cause the fuser to melt down or even cause a fire. Allow the fuser to cool for at least 20 min before attempting again. If this does not work then there is a problem with the fuser heater or temperature sensing and a new fuser or additional repairs may be required.

e001 is a fuser error. it might be able to be reset, but should be looked by a tech.
SERVICE MODE
*28*-press the additional func button, 2&8 at the same time, and the additional func button again.
when you have done it correctly, the screen will change and it will say service mode across the top.
Then select:
copier
func
clear
err
press the done or ok button on the lower right side of the screen.
turn the machine off at the black switch on the right side, wait 10secs, turn back on. should work.
****DONT MESS WITH ANYTHING ELSE IN SERVICE MODE YOU CAN REALLY SCREW UP THE MACHINE.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!******************

First check the document you are printing from and make sure the paper settings on the specific document are set correctly.Then check the papersize settings on the driver,go to printers and faxes in controll panel,Right click on the ir driver,select printing properties and the printing prefences,change the papersize to the correct papersize.
then check the papersize settings on the machine under the additional usermode.
Clear the job that is stucked in the memory by pressing the monitior button (diamand with a eye sign)select print and clear the job.
Try printing again.
