Will not read disc on xbox 360

try opening the drive and re-seating the laser body...it sometimes slips a tooth..good luck

If you hear the disk spin up then
slows down and get
an Open Trey mesage ,it's
probley a weak laser , which
isn't to hard to repair yourself.


or the drive motor is weak. Then you will
have to replace the whole drive
and swap the P.C board from
the old drive to the new one.
Cost about 20.00 -30.00 for the laser
and 40.00- 60.00 for the drive

cd rom drive has a weak laser or
the wormgear motor is slipping ,
the laser is easy to replace the drive
replacment has to have the board swap to
a new drive cost a little more.

sometimes if you lay ur 360 vertical with the storage device facing up it will mess up ur cds so try to lay it horizanlty
