Video camera jazz dv179 how many hours need to charge

The user manual is on the disk that came with the camera.

does the camera have to be charged from the adapter or can it be charged from the usb port like an ipod?

why are there so many problems with this camera????????????

you might of put the battery in the wrong way battery mine runs for hours and charges in 1 hour

i have had mine charging for 3 days now, and it's not working yet

my baterie charges fine,its the webcam option that dosnt work

how long is the built in memory supposed to last without a sd card

To guest, you have to plug in the camera firstly then the light should go red at the top once it stops flashing red you press the record/play button once and the light should go green, then you should be able to use it as a web cam

when the red light stops blinking, the battery is then fully charged

my jazz dv179 does not have lights when it is plugged in to charge. why?

really you have to make sure the battier is plugged in the right way. the writing has to be up.

I HAVE THE SOLUTION!!!!! the camera comes with a charger that plugs into the wall and into the usb port on the camera

Also, the Jazz Camera comes with a NP-60 battery with 3.7V and 1050mAH. You can purchase a stronger battery on E-Bay for dirt cheap. Still NP60 and 3.7V but 1400mAH. This newer battery will take about 10-15 minutes longer to charge but will give you approx. 1/2 hour more video time.
