I have a Pentax Optio 50 Digitgal Camera and when I try to turn it on, it states lens error, makes a buzzing sound and shuts off.
Is there a way to fix this?
Not really, it sounds like the lens has been bumped while it was extended. Unfortunately, the "buzz" you hear is the gears stripping one another. The only fix is to have the lens assembly replaced, which usually costs upwards of $200. I see this problem at least 3 times a week in my shop.

When I press on to start the camera, it blinks green then I see "Lense Error" message and shurs off. I barely used this camera six months, what a waste!
