Question about Logitech X-530 5.1 Surround Sound Speakers&Subwoofer - 970114-0403 Computer Speakers
Brother, connected my Logitech x530 5.1 suroundsound to my pc the way it describes in the manual to the sound card on the back of my pc, the 3 ports, but only the front speakers would work, not all 5 like it`s suppose to and then I swiched the jacks into different ports and this time not the front speskers would work but only the rear speakers would. now not to long ago I had a Logitech z506 that connected the way and it worked fine on same pc I just read an article that all I needed was the factory card on the back of the pc, I even tried my other pc witch is only a yr. old I get the same thing I checked 4 drivers they`re up to date. thnk you.

Liamog, i bought the exact same speakers and sound card, and i had the exact same problem as you. I tried for days to fix it and it turns out that its only a setting you have to enable in your sound card settigns. If you go into your EAX console for your creative sound card you will find a thing that sams CMSS 3D, and all you have to do is select the button that says Enable CMSS 3d surround. I hope this will fix your problem. Alex.

you have to go to your audio output setup (try to look for an audio-related icon on your taskbar - next to time display)
setup your audio output for 6 channel or 5.1channel output (depending on software)
follow on-screen description of where to plug in your speaker jacks - green, peach and black.

the fuse is soldered in the circuit board in the sub. you have to take the sub apart and get the protective metal cover off the circuit board and un solder the old one. new fuses are found at radio shack they call for a 5a125v fuse.
