Question about HP Pavilion F1703 17" LCD Monitor
I have a brand new hp computer and a hp vs19d flat screen monitor. and for some reason after i downloaded a new driver for my nvidia graphics card a week later my monitor started clinking off and on(non-stop) to a black screen and than back to whatever page i'am on(at random) i have tryed a number of things to fix it with no luck yet.i uninstalled the new driver and reinstalled it again, i switched monitors i hooked my old crt up to my new computer and it also clinks off and on. i hooked up my new monitor to my old computer and it works like a charm.i also tryed system restore to a previous date(during the system restore the monitor was clicking). also tryed changing the resolution also did not help.
thanks in advance!!!
I would start up in safe mode, and disable that driver. It sounds like it is a bad driver on your new pc. Then turn off the pc, hook up your new monitor and start up fresh. Your pc should automatically find the best compatible driver for you. If this won't do, can you please list the driver you did use? Maybe we can search for another one that would be compatible with your model monitor.
