a number of solutions for your problem a little smaller better then a little larger, iv seen depending on surrounding cabinetry, either wood fill strips, lexan(plastic) strip added as a filler. depending on what the installation guide recommends for opening , that is all that would be required what you fill if with will be a purely asthetic choice

Part number is good...WB19X5280 and while it is no longer available in new, there are companies out there on the net that can actually rebuild your electronic control. Cost would be somewhere around one hundred dollars. Search the net for electronic clocks rebuilt. You will save a range and bake many more cakes once repair is made. Good Luck. all ge codes f3 are saying ot replace thermal sensor, you can check the harness connecting them for a pinched or burnt wire i guess, as far as getting a part number , you can enter complete modle number her e and look for the sensor, i checked just the partial number you gave and a few different ones showed up
