When I put my computer on it comes up with scanning no signal and the screen stays black with the little light in the corner is yellow but sometimes leaving the computer on by itself

The monitor is stating that there's no signal from any device. It could be that the monitor cable is unplugged from the back of the tower, or the graphics card could be bad. "Scanning" suggests you're using a smart TV rather than a monitor. In that case, you may need to change the setup type to VGA, DVI, HDMI or whatever type signal the computer sends.

Try pushing the FN button, next to the left CTRL button, and then hit the F5 key at the top. By the number of times you hit the F5 button, you are telling the computer to display on its lcd screen, on the monitor (TV), both, or neither.

Good luck!

It will but in the middle of a movie it just cuts off

I am assuming you mean the picture hesitates, skips or freezes.......I also think you mean the tech said it needed a "tuner" This could be tru if you are watching over the air signals, but if this is happening on cable,satellite....using the hd inputs(hdmi or component),I would suspect the main signal board or even the cable or satellite signal strength.

Samsung 52 inch dlp tv purchased in 2003 will not handle 1080i signal from brighthouse hddvr. states no signal detected thanks howard

Be sure you are using the correct component input
This model has three component inputs and only one (the third from left) will work on 1080i signal the first two only handle 480i and 480p
This tv will not operate with 720p signal

"No Signal"

Might need a tuner, I suspect if you arent seeing any snow/static you probably need to press the tv/video button untill you get the ANT input.
