Look at repairclinic.com for your model. If the motor shows a reversing valve, that may be your culprit. Some D/Ws like Whirlpools drain by reversing the motor direction via the timer mechanism. Also look for a destroyed pump impeller/diverter that is keeping it from pumping water out. Check exit hose for obstruction, even at disposer or air gap.
