Question about Kenmore 24 in. 16032 Built-in Dishwasher
My kenmore model 665 dishwasher does not drain completely... there is about an inch and a half of water left in the bottom... if you press the drain/cancel button it does drain completely ... I have checked all the hose and the filter and everything is clear.. so is the air gap. any idea?
The water must pump uphill to the air gap. the last water in the line drops down the hose, and is in quantity equally to the volume of the hose from the bottom of the pump to the top of the hose. that flows to the bottom of the sump in the unit. if enough, it appears as residual water in the bottom. its ok.
