Hello Barb, I am not sure if you are dealing with a bad battery or you are having problems with the camera, I would suggest trying a new battery as this is the cheapest route to take, then will will know for sure if it is battery related or a camera failure.

My M753 Kodak Digital Camera won't charge the battery or turn on. Is there a resolution to fix it??

If the battery is the problem then yes it can be fixed, but you could have a more serious underlining issue, you said the battery was not charging, is the charging light coming on ? or is it completely dead? If the light is working then the battery needs to be checked, if there is no charge light, this would indicate a systems control board problem which controls vital areas of the camera.

How long to charge battery

Hi,

Your Kodak Easyshare M753 Digital Camera should get fully charged in less than 3.5 hours.
The maximum you can charge or keep the batter for charging is 3.5 hours particularly for your model.

If this is not the case and your battery does not get full charged or takes more longer time then there are chances your battery is worn out and may need a replacement.

However, if you are using re-chargeable batteries then you can also charge the Kodak battery by connecting it to PC/Laptop

We have a M753 7.0 camera that is giving us a 122,1,0,0 Kodak lens error - thoughts?

Here are the steps:

1. Make sure you will install a new or fully charged

battery/batteries into your camera.

2. Clean the battery contacts.

a. Remove the battery/batteries and the memory card from

your camera, then wipe the battery contacts with a soft,

clean cloth.
b. Reinstall the battery/batteries into your camera

3. Without the memory card, turn on your camera.

If issue persists, call 1.800.235.6325 for repair.

Thanks.

This problem is frequently due to corroded battery terminals inside the camera. Before you purchase new batteries, remove the batteries and wipe the terminals with a soft cloth (heavy corrosion may require a fine wire brush, steel wool, or sandpaper). Remove any residue left in the camera by the cleaning. Clean the terminals on the batteries in the same manner, and then replace them in the camera. This cures most problems, but if it doesn't work for you, check the Kodak troubleshooting guide at:

It uses a simple Q&A format to diagnose problems and propose solutions.

Unless you have a spare battery and/or external charger it will be hard to tell if the charging circuit is defective or the battery is bad. I have seen posts in other forums with the same issue. I assume the camera is under warranty but you may want to purchase a spare battery and charger anyway as a backup if you are going to keep it.

to remove the purple tint on your LCD screen, all you need to do is:

1. Turn the camera off.
2. Take out the batteries and wait about 10 seconds.
3. Replace the batteries with new or freshly charged batteries.
4. Remove the memory card from the camera.
5. Turn the camera back on.

If the issue is not resolved, send cam for repair. Kodak cameras have 1 year warranty
