the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

I don't know if it's the same in 8.1 but in XP there were system-critical files like restore points that weren't accessible unless one was logged in as Administrator *in safe mode*. Hope this is helpful. Good luck!

How to bypass Windows password for dell inspiron D630

If you're talking about the Windows Password for a user account try this: Turn the laptop off then turn it back on and immediately start hitting the F8 key repeatedly until you see an option for SAFE MODE. Take the Safe Mode option and let the computer boot up. When it gets to the login screen it will show you the Administrator account and the account for the user that you don't know the password. Select the Administrator account and hopefully it's not password protected. When you get into the windows desktop click Start/Control Panel/User Accounts. Under user accounts select the user for which you don't know the password then select the option to Remove Password. Click OK and reboot the machine.

New laptop, windows 7 loaded. when trying to access anything this message appears User account control. Do you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer yes or no

Hi,

It seem Windows 7 is fairly new for you. The User Account Control or UAC started with Vista as it is a security feature to make user aware on what is coming in and going out from your computer to minimize the risks of many things such as virus infection. You may want to disable it. Here's how.

Disable or Turn Off UAC (User Account Control) in Control Panel
  1. To user Control Panel to disable UAC in Windows 7, there are several methods to access the User Account Control settings page:
    1. Go to Start Menu -> Control Panel -> User Accounts and Family Safety -> User Account.
    2. Go to Start Menu -> Control Panel -> System and Security -> Action Center.
    3. Click or right click on Flag icon in notification area (system tray), and then Open Action Center.
    4. Type "MsConfig" in Start Search to start System Configuration, then go to Tools tab, select Change UAC Settings, then click on Launch button.
  2. Click on User Account Control settings link. win7-uac.jpg
  3. Slide the slider bar to the lowest value (towards Never Notify), with description showing Never notify me. windows-7-disable-uac.jpg
  4. Click OK to make the change effective.
  5. Restart the computer to turn off User Access Control.

Hello, I have a HP Pavilion laptop but the HP WLAN is always disabled. How can I fix this problem?

All laptops have a user button or switch to turn the wireless access on or off. Look for a red light above the keyboard; touch it and it should turn blue (that will turn the access on again). Alternatively, you could have a switch in the front or along the sides to turn wireless access on or off. Hope this helps.

WINDOWS INSTALLERS

This is some kind of problem with the user access control. I could fix it by disabling it. Here's how to disable it..
Here’s the step to disable and turn off UAC (User Access Control) feature for the logged on user account in Windows Vista (there are plenty more ways to disable UAC):
  1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
  2. In “Control Panel”, click User Accounts and Family Safety.
  3. In the “User Accounts and Family Safety” window, click User Accounts.
  4. In the “Make changes to your user account” tasks window, click Turn User Account Control on or off.
  5. If UAC is currently configured in Admin Approval Mode, the User Account Control message appears. Click Continue.
  6. Clear the Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer check box, and then click OK.
  7. Click Restart now to apply the change immediately, or click Restart Later to close the User Accounts tasks window. Note that you must reboot the system to make the change effective.
Let me know if it worked!
