What are the setting for simple addition and subtraction. I also need it to print it for me

The manual mentions an add mode, turning the calculator into an adding machine.

If this is the case, you can do this test and see if it works to confirm that it is acting like an adding machine.

Think of these as integers. The 4 is positive, the 3 is negative, the 5 is positive. When we add all these integers together, we get positive 6.

Good luck.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Is zero an integer

0 is an integer number in math, where integer numbers are the infinite set: 500602c6-8540-4def-b9ba-b45092b717e1.gif.

Depending on circumstances, the "natural numbers" and "natural numbers with zero" are also sometimes referred to as integers, quietly dropping the "positive" or "non-negative" property of the set.

Note, the former does *not* include 0.

I am trying to divide a power of 10 by and another number to a neg power of 10

For integer powers of 10 you can use the EE shortcut. [2nd][,] displays E.
For non-integer values of the exponent (such as -5.34) you must use the key sequence [2nd][LOG] (10^x) then enter your negative non-integer exponent.

Find two consecutive even integers whose product is 1,520

2n = 1st even integer
2n + 2 = 2nd even integer

Product = 2n(2n + 2) = 4n^2 + 4n = 4(n^2 + n)
1520 = 4(n^2 + n)
1520/4 = 4(n^2 + n)/4
380 = n^2 + n
0 = n^2 + n - 380
0 = (n + 20)(n - 19)
n = -20, +19

Answer can not be negative so n = +19

2n = 2(19) = 38
2n + 2 = 2(19) + 2 = 40

ANSWER: the integers are 38 and 40
