Drain it all the way and lay it down so that you can see the drive pulleys and belt, inspect for wear and debris. Clean and if needed replace

SOURCE: spin cycle

the machine has sensors within it that detect off balance loads, very possible that the 1 or 2 items are not enough to correctly balance themselves, so the machine will never achieve full speed spin.

SOURCE: Could you please tell me how to remove the agitator for cleaning

The agitator on a Maytag Performa comes off by removing the center post cap and dispenser by pulling on it. Locate the agitator bolt and loosen (you may need to hold the agitator in place while loosening). With the bolt removed, the agitator will lift off.

If you still have questions, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

SOURCE: Maytag epic z-ripped piece of door seal

I have the same problem with mine except the rubber piece that is ripped is still attached. The rip is about 3/4". How do we replace the rubber seal? is there a specific part number I need to look for? Sounds like this might be a common problem... I wonder how many others have this same issue. I havent even washed anthing as heavy as a rug. I only wash cotton. The door itself has a spot on it that seems like it may have helped cause the tear.

Maytag bravo quiet series 300: Stopped at spin:

We have a Maytag Bravo Quiet Series 300 washing machine, the door latch is broken. I have the replacement part ( the locking mechanism) but I need can not figure out how to get the top of the washer to flip up to give me access to top front of the machine to remove the old part and replace it with the new.

How do I flip back the top (not the door) of this machine?

Have a quiet pak4 kenmore elite. the spin cycle seems to not wring out the clothes well. In some cases, the items are dripping wet. I tried running an empty cycle, (rinse and spin setting), and it seem to...

Try this: remove the front lower acces panel(below the door going acroos the lower portion of the washer)
by removeing the attaching screws and pull off, then inside you will see a cylinder shaped unit with a cap with a twist handle on it,this is the filter pump, unscrew the cap to remove the trap and clean out completely, there will be some water in it when you open it so have a towel ready to sop up the water, reassemble everything and try a load of clothes, this will fix your problem. Good luck !

Water does not drain completely, mostly but not completely and just stays there Maytag Quiet Series 100

If the machine has a auto sensor or auto clean cycle it is supposed to keep water in the bottom. The sensor has to stay wet for it to work properly. My Maytag drains, then fills slightly to do this.
