I got the xdvd700 by dual just yesterday. i figured it out! plug the ground wire(black) for the dvd player into the antenna while the antenna is still plugged in. then plug the yellow and blue wire into the recieving black ground wire. i did it and it works all the time no code, lost memory, no trippin, no BS!! email me for questions: email@example.com

You will need to get two items. first, a prewired toggle switch, and a 4" wire. attach one end of the toggle switch to the pink wire on the dvd player. next, attach the other end to the e-brake. now this will work when the brake is up.
attach the 3" wire from the brake to where the brake makes connection to the plate. this will trick the monitor into thinking the brake is always up.
if that doesn't work, try grounding it to another piece of metal near the e-brake
