How do i fix a lifegear treadmill 97520?

Try below:

ERROR CODE
DESCRIPTION
E1
Speed error (The treadmill running speed is 3.2 kph faster than the displayed
speed). The treadmill will stop immediately when the console detects this error.
E2
Speed error (The treadmill running speed is 3.2 kph slower than the displayed
speed). The treadmill will stop 16 seconds later after the console detects this
error.
Troubleshooting / Resetting error codes
In the rare event of the treadmill displaying an error code ("E" followed by a number), simply reset
the computer by:
1. Step off the treadmill. Ensure that you are clear of the running belt.
2. Turn the treadmill off at the master power switch located near the motor housing.
WARNING: Ensure nothing is positioned near or under running belt which may possibly block
it's normal operation.
3. Turn the treadmill on at the master power switch.
4. Ensure that the Safety Tether Key is securely and properly installed onto the console or just
reinstalling the Safety Tether Key can also reset the display.
If the above does not clear the error code, please contact the nearest Dealer/Service Center

Reebok ZR8 display is completely blank. Belt working fine, speed and incline keys still responsive - just can't see speed, distance etc

Hi Adrian, All a treadmill is... is a motor, running belt and console display pad. You'll find the console display pad has malfunctioned.... This can happen when something heavy is placed on it OR something hits it and if yours is under warranty then get it fix as soon as possible mate, I had a problem with my console display pad and it cost me $100 just for the pad....... My treadmill is a different brand but I can tell you the motor and running belt will last and last and last.....I hope this helps.........CHEERS..

Treadmill display screen is clear. treadmill still runs, just screen does not show up

What your seeing is a common problem which I encountered on 3 separate displays. I have since diagnosed the problem and am currently life-testing a working solution.

The real problem is very poor design of the negative voltage generator circuit for the display contrast. Everything else is working fine except that circuit. I have designed and installed in my treadmill a replacement circuit that is much stronger and am currently testing it.
