Model WFL2872 drum not turning.
It was working until I opened up the front to to remove a coin from the area of the heating element. It was an easy task but, while I don't think I damaged anything, it failed to work properly when I turned it on. I tried it on a short wash cycle but all it did was fill with water... I emptied it using the drain setting. I then tried it on spin: the machine buzzes and clicks now and then but the drum does not move. Please help!
There is a water pressure switch that operates when the required water fills in the tub. this pressure switch in your machine is possibly faulty. In ur case the water keeps filling then it detects an error and stops that's when the lights start flashing. the pressure switch fails to detect the amount of water in the drum and so the machine doesn't move on to the next cycle
TRY TURNING THE DRUM BY HAND IF IT DOES NOT MOVE YOU PROBABLY HAVE A BAD MOTOR IF IT MOVES VERY EASILY YOU HAVE A BROKEN BELT. IF IT MOVES WITH SOME RESISTANCE TRY CHECKING THE VOLTAGE AT THE MOTOR IT BE A BAD WIRE
