Which part is disabled? If it is the monitor, then you need to check the driver in the Control Panel; or did you mean the Windows password?

Blue screen when left idle for period of time

Ouch, the Blue Screen of Death most likely. This can mean a lot of different problems, mainly in the hardware, either your C.P.U. is overheating, or your C.P.U., Mother Board or CMOS/BIOS has a short circuit. It can also mean your Hard Disk Drive is damaged. But you're here for solutions, not reasons:
1) Backup all your data from your Disk Drive in any method you can, then format your Disk Drive and reinstall everything.
2) Get a new computer, sounds harsh and expensive, but if the problem lies on the hardware, it will not be easily or cheaply repairable (if at all). A new C.P.U. is almost as expensive (if not more) than a new computer, a new Mother Board might not be compatible with your current hardware (HDD, RAMs, ROMs,etc) and the CMOS/BIOS is irreplaceable (embedded in the Mother Board). So buying a new computer might actually be cheaper.
3) Get a new Disk Drive, install everything in it,copy the data from the old Disk Drive and use the new one as your main Disk Drive. This is recommended only if the problem is found directly to be in the Disk Drive.

I have DG965SS mother board and I am about to buy video card PCI-E , what I need to do to have this card working and not using the on-board craphic ?

When you already purchased a new PCIE card for it what you need to do is to just plug the video card to the mother and then power it on and computer will automatically disable the onboard video card and then once computer is up run the setup disc for the new video card and install all the software for it and you;re ready to go now.

My computer suddenly stopped showing any picture on the moniter. I bought another moniter to replace the existing one yet after attaching it to the computer still no picture what could be the problem

best guess would be the video card died, its possible the slot on the mother board went bad, but extremely unlikely..
if your machine has a seperate video card try replacing it with a known good working one.
if however like a lot of newer cheaper computers the video card may be built into, and onto the mother board, you will need to disable that before you attempt to install another video card and load drivers for that card..
hope this helps,
best of luck,
ttfn

I have a HP PC. the compouter does not boot. A vendor tested it and said the sound card is gone bad. The sound card is on the motherboard. wat to do?

Unless you love this computer you have to take this mother board to the manufactuer for componant repair.
Could be anything. Diode issue or transister unless you have the schematics for this item you can fix it your self and test, however if you don't love this mother board as you do... might just have to replace the mother board

New Sound Card is not working.

Ted, the first thing you should do is go into your computer's BIOS and disable the built-in sound card. Once you do that, go back to your device manager and if the onboard sound card still appears there remove or disable it. Then reboot and your new sound card should be recognized and you can install drivers and begin using it.

How to disable onboard graphic card on asus psrd1-vm mother board

There should be a menu item in your BIOS to Enable/Disable On-board video.

Not sure what key on your computer selects the BIOS Setup Utility. Watch when it begins booting. It will show it for a few seconds. Maybe F2?

Mother board driver issues

Don't panic. If you take the cover off the side of the computer and look at the motherboard you will find a jumper that says cmos. You can switch the jumper and wait a minute or so then switch it back and it will boot up its defaults. If you cant find the jumper just take the battery out of the motherboard and wait a couple minutes and then put it back in. that will do the same thing and it should boot up fine.
