SOURCE: No signal to monitor / Beeping
Listen to the pattern of beeps, or look at the back of the computer to see the pattern of the diagnostic lights ( 4 lights just under the keyboard/mouse connectors) and check out this site to see what they mean:

I had the same problem and i used the DVI cable and it worked! The VGA slot on the computer was covered and it had a x on it. Maybe they didn't want us to use it...

in this case it is probably the video card ...so ..if you have a on board one ...just move the cable to it..(its placed near the other on board plugs like usb and printer plug ) but you may need to remove the faulty card from the computer in order to let the on board one to work ...also try to see if it is not just a case of plugging the card better in the slot ..or so ...there can not be anything else cause if the monitor says there is no signal this is the only issue possible..if the computer starts ....

The wireless card was optional for that particular computer. You can see if you have one by clicking the start button (lower left corner) right click on computer and select "manage". When the window opens click device manager in the left window and find "network adapters" in the larger center window. If you see a wireless card listed in that then you have one and it should be activated already (there's no on/off switch for wireless on a desktop). If you don't, any PCI wireless card can be purchased for 15-30 bucks. To install it, turn off and unplug your computer, take off the side panel of your machine, remove the i/o cover adjacent to the PCI slot you plan to use and insert the card into the pci slot and secure it with the screw that held the cover on. Power on your computer and run the driver installation software that came with the card you purchased.
