If you didn't keep a copy, you may well be out of luck. If your camera hasn't been used much, you may be able to "undelete" the original picture from the camera using software like this:

I selected open folder to view pictures. The f: file display DCIM. I clicked it and it display Olympus displaying pics. I name a couple of pics in the slide. I wanted to change the folder name I...

it sounds like you deleted the images. If you are downloading images from your camera or should open the folder to view images. hold control key down and select all images that you want to download. right click on them on click save.

it sounds like you are trying to rename a folder before downloading anything. I know that when I try to edit or rotate any of my images on my card, i first need to download the images to a folder before doing any edits. it does sound like you were trying to rename your folder. normally, you would right click on folder, and click rename. hope this helps. if you need anything else, feel free to ask!!!

To resolve this problem, select the Delete restoration data and proceed to system boot menu option which enables the computer to perform a normal restart, instead of performing the restoration process while the computer is in Hibernate mode

Uploading files back to the camera

Why would you want to load images back the camera? Once images are loaded to computer for editing- then camera will no longer recognise them. This is because the image type taken by the camera is properly called an EXIF image- which is a JPEG with Extra information such a camera make and exposure detail. Editing images in an image editor will remove this EXIF information and it becomes a plain vanilla JPEG. Cameras do not recognize JPEGS. The Exif can be replaced with some software by a fudge that kids the camera- Try Photo shop or Paint-Shop- but it is a long shot.
