I have a Hiteker TL50Z10AH-TP. The picture is dark on half of screen. Could you tell me what is causing this issue, and if there is anything I can do to fix this

back - light problem. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ To some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement. To some models sets, the back-light inverter and SMPS section circuit will be integrated at its main board itself. If so; the main board should be replaced. To some models of sets, all these section circuit will be integrated at its main board. If this is the case, you have to replace the main board.

Hi. I am a novice so my question could sound quite dumb. Can you recommend an internal modem that I can plug into the motherboard to accept a wireless internet connection or is there one already on the...

I think you want your desktop computer to be able to "grab" an existing wireless Internet connection, right? In that case, what you need is not an internal modem, but a "PCI Wireless Adapter". It's just a typical card that goes inside the computer, but instead of ports, has an antenna. Check Newegg.com for "PCI Wireless Adapter", and you'll find several of them. TP-Link, Asus and Netgear are good options.

WATER IS DRIPPING FROM THE OUTLET VELVE LOCATED ON TOP WATER HEATER.

That sounds like the TP valve is leaking.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Water-heater-leaking.html

1) Leaking TP valve can be caused by defective TP valve
How to replace TP valve:
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-replace-TP-valve.html

2) TP valve can also be caused by overheated tank.
Turn down thermostat.
Install expansion tank on incoming cold water line.
Electric heater: thermostat or element may be bad and tank needs troubleshooting
Gas heater: thermostat is connected to gas valve and gas valve may need replacement.

3) First step is replace TP valve and see if that solves problem.

4) Add a comment for more free help.
Also take advantage of fixyas phone service.
For a price, fixya expert speaks with you over phone while you work on water heater.

Relief valve on my water heater is dripping. Can I fix this?

There are two solutions:

1) Replace TP valve with same temperature/pressure as existing TP valve.
Buy the TP valve at hardware store or home center or plumbing supply.
Turn off water heater so water cools.
Hot water inside a tank is explosive ... so open the TP valve and test water temperature.
If TP is on top of tank, you don't need to drain much water before unscrewing
If TP is on side of tank, use the TP valve to drain water -or- use the drain valve
Unscrew TP to remove.
Put teflon tape on new valve threads so it will seal against leak.

2) If the new TP replacement starts doing the same thing, there may be a thermostat problem -or- thermostat is set too high.
If you keep the water temperature set high, you can add expansion tank to incoming cold water line.
Home Depot sells expansion tanks. Plumbing supply carries them,
The tank for residential water heaters is about same diameter as a football and it goes on cold water line.

I forgot my tp link router paswor

You will find a very small hole on the back of it. Straighten out a paper clip and hold it in for 5 secs with power on. This will reset it back to factory defaults. Cheers from Scott

My dell inspiron 1521 mousepad has stopped working, any suggestions on how to repair it would be appreciated

in BIOS, check if the touch pad isn't disabled (may be called internal pointing device). if this is enabled, the TP is almost certainly broken and needs to be replaced. in few cases, the flat cable connecting the TP may have come loose. any way, the laptop should be at least partially disassembled for repair.
