Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Yes, you need to try to locate the program folder and attempt to delete it. or you can use the KillBox program that will force delete the program. If you would like that send me a email jcamphelp@hotmail.com and I'll send that to you....

SOURCE: Fingerprint sensor not working!

You may have a bad device driver, I suggest doing a system restore of your computer back to an earlier time before you had this problem.

FN keys don't work on Sony VAIO VGN-SZ18GP

The solution is as follows, which worked for me:

- Install Windows 7
- let it update all the drivers that it needs to
- Install additional Sony drivers that you need (XP drivers work just fine, but make sure to install them in Administrator mode, so, Run as Administrator), such as camera, fingerprint scanner, etc
- Install the Notebook Control Device Driver (without this the other software does nothing)
- Sony Utilities DLL
- Sony Shared Library

* restart computer *

- Sony Video Shared Library
- SUS (Setting Utility Series)

* restart computer *

- VES (VAIO Event Service)

After this one the Fn keys will start to work. The S1 and S2 keys don't work due to something to do with UAC (but I don't need them anyway)

- VAIO Control Centre (will allow you to change what the S1 and S2 keys do, even though you can't use them :) )

That's it and it worked for me.

Trouble with fingerprint login

maybe this can solve

you can
reinsatlling your system with a fresh copy of Windows (or whatever operating system you used)
and install your mahcine driver (it's can be found in sony website)

or just use your mahcine recovery utilities
and your mahcine's fingerprint sensor will set to default with none finger in it's memory

and in many system
you can just simply boot in safe mode and uninstall the fingerprint utilities
