How to turn off garmin streetpilot c210 - Garmin GPS

There is no way to just "reset" the PIN. If you don't have the correct PIN, you must take the unit to the location at which the PIN was set. Your only other option is to return the unit to Garmin.

Pull the Face off it, press the reset button.

Test it in the house and the car, if it fails in the house and car and after resetting it.
New battery needed.
$100 repair from Garmin.

If the speaker is not blown this will tell you how to turn the volume up or to reload the software.

To test if the speaker is blown you will need a set of compatible earphones or a hands free device from a cell phone. If the headphones work and the speaker does not it is likely that it is not the software and the speaker is bad.
