SOURCE: my pc stoped after 30 min

Hello,

Dual Channel supported up to 4GB DDR2 533/667 MHZ [XP will only see 3 GB x86 / 32bit]

Freezing is most likely caused by a faulty hard drive, or faulty RAM. I would test both for faults.

SOURCE: ie sync client has stopped working

Hi. If your Issue is about your internet explorer then you could just try using a different browser like mozilla firefox or google chrome, about the performance of your computer you can clean some files on your C: drive or perform a virus scan, or if you want you could restore your system to its original factory settings by accessing the Recovery Partition on your laptop, by the way before you restore your system make sure that you have a backup of all your important files on a flash drive or on a external harddrive because when you use the One Key Recovery (OKR) it would delte everything on your computer and restore it to its original settings just like the first time you got your machine. The way to acces the OKR is to press the NOVO button or the small button just beside the power button and make sure that the ac adapter is plugin to your computer, and from there just choose system recovery and it will guide you to the whole process of recovering you machine. hope this helps

How To Fix Yahoo! and Other Email Websites!

Yahoo! is a great email client used by millions of people around the world. It's also been around for over a decade, giving it the title of one of the longest online mail clients on the web today! However, it still has <span style="font-weight: bold;">a lot </span>of bugs within it, and those bugs can dramatically deter your email experience. Here are some tips to help fix Yahoo! and make sure you don't run into these issues again.<br /><br /> <ul> <li>If Yahoo! isn't opening, for whatever reason, you may have an issue with your cookies. Cookies are little files that are saved by your browser that store various forms of information about websites, passwords, preferences, etc. However, these cookies can also malfunction the website slightly, causing you to have limited or zero ability to use it. To fix this, you can clear your cookies. To do this, go to your "Tools" or "Settings" option on your browser. After that, go to the "History" or "Preferences" section. You should have the option to delete cookies/history. You should also have options to decide what cookies are deleted and which ones aren't. After you've cleared the cookies, close your browser down, then open it back up, and try signing back into Yahoo! Hopefully this solves some people's problems. <br /></li></ul> <ul> <li>Ensure you have the latest versions of Adobe Flash and Java installed. It may sound crazy, but websites are using these programs to run applications and stream data to your computer through your browser. Most advertisements and mail clients use some form of code other than just HTML or basic CSS. To update your Adobe Flash and Java version, go to: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ and for Java go to: http://www.java.com/en/download/inc/windows_upgrade_xpi.jsp</li></ul>If not only Yahoo! but any other websites aren't opening, make sure your network connection is set properly by talking to your network administrator (or whoever knows how to fix the modem/router in the household or workplace). These tips also apply to other email clients such as Gmail, Hotmail, and ISP provided email (i.e. Comcast, Charter, Verizon, etc.)<br /><br />Hope this helped you guys out! <br /><br />Sincerely,<br /><span style="font-style: italic;">Anonymity</span><br />

When i use voobys to download from youtube it tells that my security settings have blocked a self signed application from running how do i solve this problem

This happens because the developer has not met the security guidelines. you can follow one of the 2 steps -

1. It is in your best interest to contact developer or publisher of this application and let them know about the application being blocked. Also provide developers with these links that gives details about implementing secure practices in the code for the application. 2. As a workaround, the user can use Exception Site list feature to run the applications blocked by security settings.

Certificate error on web site.

This is basically an Internet Explorer 7 Website’s Security Certificate problem! You have to self-sign the certificate on the client computer or add the URL manually to the trusted security zone. When you are trying to access a secure web page, you receive the warning message:

"There is a problem with this website's security certificate. The security certificate presented by this website was not issued by a trusted certificate authority."

Or

"Security certificate problems may indicate an attempt to fool you or intercept data you send to the server."

To fix this issue, you can follow either of the methods:

Method 1:

You have to install the Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2003 (Windows SBS) self-signed certificate on the client computer. To do this, follow these steps:

  • In Windows Internet Explorer 7, click Continue to this website (not recommended).
A red Address Bar and a certificate warning appear.
  • Click Certificate Error button to open the information window.
  • Click View Certificates > click Install Certificate.
  • Click Yes, to install the certificate, when warning message appear.

Note: For Windows Vista users, right click on Internet Explorer icon. Select Run as Administrator.

Method 2:

Add the URL to the Trusted Sites security zone:

  • Open Internet Explorer
  • Go to Menu bar > Tools > Internet Options.

    tool.jpg
  • Click Security > Trusted sites > Sites

    sec.jpg
  • Type the URL in the Add this website to the zone text box > uncheck Require server verification >Add > click OK

    trust.jpg
  • Click OK to exit.

Now you have added the URL successfully into the Trusted Sites security zone.

What is the purpose of java

high-level programming language developed by Sun Microsystems. Java was originally called OAK, and was designed for handheld devices and set-top boxes. Oak was unsuccessful so in 1995 Sun changed the name to Java and modified the language to take advantage of the burgeoning World Wide Web. Java is an object-oriented language similar to C++, but simplified to eliminate language features that cause common programming errors. Java source code files (files with a .java extension) are compiled into a format called bytecode (files with a .class extension), which can then be executed by a Java interpreter. Compiled Java code can run on most computers because Java interpreters and runtime environments, known as Java Virtual Machines (VMs), exist for most operating systems, including UNIX, the Macintosh OS, and Windows. Bytecode can also be converted directly into machine language instructions by a just-in-time compiler (JIT). Java is a general purpose programming language with a number of features that make the language well suited for use on the World Wide Web. Small Java applications are called Java applets and can be downloaded from a Web server and run on your computer by a Java-compatible Web browser, such as Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Unable to View Java Applet

"load: class JFI.class not found."
Based on the console output, it means that it cannot find the java applet class. In other words, the applet is missing on the server side. There is nothing that you can do about it, unless you know the person who created the applet. Good luck :)

Seeing A Red X Seeing A Red X Some members will see a Red X where a game should be running. This happens when a small piece of software provided by the game publisher is not installed. These little programs are called Active X controls. When you see a Red X you need to do the following to get the game running:
1) Close down your browsers (and the AOL client)

2) Open Windows Explorer and go to C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files

3) Find all non-Java labeled files

4) Right-click it and select "Remove" for each

5) Open up Internet Explorer or AOL and try to run the game again.

Slingo Help Slingo Help 1) Make SURE you have the latest version of Java by clicking here. and installing Java (the games need Java to run properly)

2) You will see more of the screen if you use Internet Explorer or Firefox instead of the AOL browser. Just sign onto AOL, minimize the AOL running but leave it running in the background and then open Internet Explorer and go to Slingo

3) If you cannot see the entire game screen, adjust your screen size (the resolution) to 1024x768. Then you should see the game AND the chat.

4)You can play in any state and any room by clicking on the regional tabs inside the game lobby.

5) You can play in ANY of the game rooms regardless of what state you are from by clicking on the “Play” button in the lobby. Pop-Up Blockers Pop-Up Blockers Some of our games open as a pop up. If you click on one of our games at it is blocked it may be due to a pop-up blocker.
