You have to clean out the dryer too, that's a gas dryer it should be taken apart and cleaned out at least once a year so you don't have a fire.you have to unplug the dryer, pull it apart and clean out the cabinet where the motor is and the gas tube, then clean out the blower wheel and the duct that the lint filter slides into,if the vent line is long stick a leaf blower into the line and blow it out.if you live in ma. and need someone to check it out peter de's appliance is a good service to call 781-438-9442

SOURCE: Whirlpool Model LE7010XSNO. No Heat After Lint Cleaned Out

Those are likely possibilities. Also check the wiring for disconnected or burned terminals especially in areas that get hot. The element comes out easily to visually check it for breaks. If that's OK I'd look at the safety thermostat.

SOURCE: The lint trap on my dryer is moist.

I don't know what's causing the smell, but the moist lint trap and the "takes two cycles" sounds like the exhaust vent is partially blocked.

You can ask the apartment manager to clean it out, or you can take a stab at it yourself with an electrician's fish tape, a plumber's snake, or a dryer-duct cleaning kit. (I picked links from Ace, but you can get them at any hardware or home shop)

Pull the dryer out and detach it from the ductwork. If you're using the fish tape or the drain auger, then you'll want to tie a rag to the end -- washcloth to dishtowel sized at the biggest -- to wipe the lint out of the ductwork. If you've got the duct-cleaning-kit, then use the brush that comes with the kit.

Work your way up and down the ductwork as far in as you can reasonably reach. Chances are good that you'll soon have a huge pile of lint on the floor, and much better airflow through the ductwork.

Hook up the dryer and things should go much better on the next laundry day.

On the screen of my dryer where it tells me how long I have till the cloths are dry keeps flashing AF and it takes me all day to dry one load of cloths.

The AF stands for Low airflow condition. We had it too. Check the lint trap first as it is the easiest. Then check the dryer hose ductwork make sure its not crushed or blocked. You may need to clean the line from the outside too.

The clothes are not drying, no heat is producing all of sudden.

Check the fuse box, it should be running on a double breaker. If only one side is tripped it will runn with no heat. If thats not it your heating element could be bad go to marcone.com to order a new one
